As the growing season nears, soil temperature monitoring becomes increasingly important. Did you know that the Automated Weather Data Network (AWDN) records soil temperature data?
Both hourly and daily soil temperature data are available through the Classic Online Services or a full-service request. Or, you can check out the AWDN Maps page for the latest 1-day and 7-day soil temperature data.
The AWDN Maps offer many different products including:
- Maximum Temperature
- Minimum Temperature
- Precipitation
- Soil Temperature
- Relative Humidity
- Solar Radiation
- Wind Speed
- Potential Evapotranspiration
If you have any questions about soil temperature data, maps, or the AWDN, please feel free to contact us.
