The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook webinar will take place on Thursday, December 17th at 1pm CST.
Jeff Andresen, Michigan State Climatologist, will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks. Jeff will be summarizing recent events and discussing the trends over the fall. He will also present outlook and potential impact information for the winter. Finally, he will provide an update on the (strong) El Niño situation and it's continued implications for the U.S. and this region specifically.
The focus of these presentations is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from Michigan to Colorado. Mountain and other snowpack (and cover), precipitation and temperature anomalies, river and stream trends as well as Great Lakes issues will be covered among other variables. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
