The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 1pm CDT. Laura Edwards (South Dakota State Climatologist) will be presenting the latest drought/flood & climate summary, impacts and outlooks. In this month's presentation the attention will be on the fall and up coming winter. We will also address recent extremely heavy rainfall, some lingering drought concerns (west) and the status of the El Nino Watch.

In addition to Laura, we are inviting back Brad Rippey (USDA, meteorologist, Office of the Chief Economist) to provide us a round up of the growing season and how climate impacted the Midwest in terms of yield and such.

The focus area for the Webinar is the north-central region of the U.S. (from the Rockies to the Great Lakes).  At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
