The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, August 17th at 1pm CDT. Brian Fuchs (National Drought Mitigation Center Climatologist) will be presenting the latest drought/climate impacts and outlooks for the region. Brian will be summarizing recent climate and drought trends over the entire region as well as discussing their impacts as we look forward. He will also present the latest (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center outlooks from two weeks to a few seasons into the future. Special attention will once again be given to the ongoing drought in the northern plains as well as some of the wetter conditions further east in the Midwest.

The focus of these presentations is the north central U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies.

At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
