The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, June 15th at 1pm CDT. Aaron Wilson, with the Ohio State Climate Office at the Ohio State University, will be presenting the latest climate impacts and outlooks for the region. Aaron will be summarizing recent trends, events and variability as well as discussing their impacts as we look forward into summer. He will also present the latest (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center outlooks from two weeks to a few seasons into the future. The focus of these presentations is the north central U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies.
Aaron will examine the latest wet weather in places as well as some that have dipped into drought lately. He will also summarize the latest El Nino/La Nina situation. Finally, impacts from past and potential future events will be covered.
