The monthly North Central U.S. climate summary and outlook webinar will take place on Thursday, August 20th at 1pm CDT. Jim Angel, the Illinois State Climatologist, will be presenting the latest information and outlooks.
Jim will be discussing the latest temperature and precipitation trends over the last few months and the potential for continuing the relatively wet and cool trend into the early fall over the North Central U.S. He will also touch on any continuing drought, flood, soil moisture, river, and reservoir conditions. Finally, he will examine the current strength and potential impacts of the current El Nino across the region.
The region we will be focusing on stretches from Michigan to Colorado
At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
