This month Jim Angel (Illinois State Climatologist) will be presenting the latest climate summary and outlook information for the region. Jim will discuss the latest on temperature and precipitation trends over the last few months as well as the status of developing drought, soil moisture, snow pack, river conditions, and reservoirs. We will also touch on Great Lakes issues including lake levels and water temperatures. In addition, we will examine the potential impacts of the climate system (El Nino) across the region. Finally, an updated climate outlook for the following month and seasons will be provided. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
