This month Dennis Todey (South Dakota State Climatologist) will be presenting the latest climate summary and outlook information for the region. Dennis will discuss the latest on temperature and precipitation trends over the last few months as well as the status of soil moisture, snow pack, river conditions and reservoirs. We will also touch on Great Lakes levels and water temperatures and examine the state of the likely El Nino event and potential impacts in the future. Finally, an updated climate outlook for the winter will be provided. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
