Due to concern and interest within the Missouri River Basin, there will be a special Missouri Basin focused webinar on May 1st at 1pm CDT. The focus of the webinar will be to highlight the current situation and outlooks regarding precipitation, flooding, temperatures, soil moisture, reservoir status, snowpack, and even drought. This will be the last webinar focused on the Missouri Basin unless the situation warrants. The regular monthly Midwest/Great Plains Webinars will continue to be held regularly. Dennis Todey, the South Dakota State Climatologist, will lead the discussion.
