This month Jim Angel (Illinois State Climatologist) will be presenting the latest climate summary and outlook for the U.S. and specifically the north central region. We will briefly examine the current El Nino/La Nina situation (an El Nino Watch has been issued) and provide a summary of current conditions across the region. Subject matter will include current snow cover and snowpack, spring flood outlooks, soil moisture updates, drought, stream flow, trends, and several other climate variables of interest for decision making in the upcoming months. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
