The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, December 15th at 1pm CST. Stuart Foster, the Kentucky State Climatologist, will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks for the region. Stuart will be summarizing recent climate trends, events, and variability as well as discussing their impacts. He will also present the latest NOAA Climate Prediction Center outlooks from two weeks to a few seasons into the future. He will also provide the latest update on the La Niña conditions and perhaps what that could mean for the rest of this fall and winter. The focus of these presentations is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
