The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, September 15th at 1pm CDT. Dennis Todey, Midwest Climate Ag. Hub Director (USDA) will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks for the North Central U.S. Dennis will be summarizing recent climate anomalies and discussing their impacts around the region. He will also present the latest (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center outlooks and potential impacts as we move into the fall and winter. He will also provide the latest update on whether La Nina conditions will form and how strong it may be if it does this fall/winter.
In addition, Dennis will be joined by Brad Rippey, meteorologist (Office of the Chief Economist, USDA) to discuss climate and crops in 2016. His focus will be on the same region as Dennis.
The focus of these presentations is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
