The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook webinar will take place on Thursday, September 17th at 1pm CDT.

 

Laura Edwards, South Dakota Climate Extension Climatologist, will be presenting the latest information and outlooks. In addition, as we near the end of the growing season we will include a presentation from Brad Rippey (USDA Meteorologist - Office of the Chief Economist). He will provide a summary of the 2015 crops and how climate/weather influences impacted the year in the Midwest. Laura will be discussing the latest temperature and precipitation trends over the summer and the upcoming fall season. She will also address potential impacts of El Ninoduring the same interval. The focus region stretches from Michigan to Colorado. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
