The High Plains Regional Climate Center is part of a multi-state, multi-disciplinary team of researchers studying climate variability and change with respect to agriculture. A 5-year project is now underway in which more than 20 scientists, including agronomists, agricultural economists, climatologists and social scientists, are coming together to produce usable decision support tools for cereal crop producers. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture and is being led by Purdue University.
