New article in BAMS features the Regional Climate Centers

An article in the latest edition of the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS) highlights the Regional Climate Center (RCC) program. This article, "Toward Regional Climate Services: The Role of NOAA's Regional Climate Centers," highlights the history, partnerships, products, and vision of the RCC program. The RCC program has been around for over 25 years and now consists of 6 climate centers:
- High Plains Regional Climate Center - University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE
- Midwest Regional Climate Center - University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL
- Northeast Regional Climate Center - Cornell University, Ithaca, NY
- Southeast Regional Climate Center - University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC
- Southern Regional Climate Center - Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA
- Western Regional Climate Center - Desert Research Institute, Reno, NV
