Nebraska and Kansas continue to remain free of drought and abnormally dry conditions, with over 90% of the region experiencing no form of drought or abnormal dryness.

Over the next week, below normal precipitation is expected for the High Plains Region as well as most of the eastern US.  Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to be above normal for the region in addition to most of the western and southeastern US.
