The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, May 19th at 1pm CDT. The new Nebraska State Climatologist Martha Shulski will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks for the region. Martha will be summarizing recent spring weather and climate anomalies and discussing their impacts around the region. She will also present the latest outlook and potential future impacts as we move into summer and early fall. Additionally, she will provide an update on the weakening El Niño and likely transition to La Niña.
The focus of these presentation is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
