Heavy Precipitation Impacts High Plains Region - Updated 06/22/10

More heavy rain fell across the Region this weekend. Several locations have moved up in the top 10 list and others have joined. For instance, Norfolk, NE has joined the top 10 list with 9.55 inches of precipitation so far this month, which places it as the 4th wettest June on record. The picture to the right shows flooding which has occurred in the Norfolk, NE area (photo taken by Bernie Auten).
More thunderstorms are forecast for early this week and the High Plains Regional Climate Center will continue to update the list with any new records. An updated list is below:
