The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 1pm CDT. Missouri State Climatologist Pat Guinan will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks for the region. More specifically Pat will be summarizing recent warmer than normal winter and discussing their impacts around the region (e.g. freeze damage). He will also present the latest outlook and potential future impacts as we move through spring and into early summer. Additionally, he will provide an update on the weakening El Nino, it's continued implications for this region and what it may transition to.
The focus of these presentation is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
