Seasonal Snow Statistics So Far This Season - Updated 03/10/2010

This winter has been cold and snowy which has caused many travel worries, school closings, and road closures. This leads many people to ask questions such as, just how snowy has it been and which locations may make the top 10 for seasonal snowfall?
The High Plains Regional Climate Center has updated the season-to-date snowfall statistics (see table below). Recent snowfall has pushed North Platte, NE up to the third snowiest season on record and Scottsbluff, NE up to the fifth snowiest season on record. More light snow is forecast for parts of the Region this week. Will more locations break into the top 10?
The High Plains Regional Climate Center will continue to keep the statistics updated throughout the season.
