Custom Climatology Tool

With the Custom Climatology Tool, you can create monthly temperature & precipitation averages using custom time periods for stations all across the United States. You may use any range of years from 1961 through last year, and then download the final values as a CSV file.

Note: This tool uses the North American Dataset for temperatures that is available from the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). This dataset was also used in the creation of the official NCEI Normals, but does not create a serially complete series for the station. This tool uses the GHCN Monthly v4 Beta dataset for precipitation values, which is available from the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). This tool uses GHCN daily data from the Applied Climate Information System for degree day values. Stations are selected based on their inclusion in the North American Dataset. Values created with this tool are not the same as those in the official Normals dataset.
